Our Mission Statement
Recognizing the value of an excellent faith-based education, the Sacred Heart School Home and School Association (HASA) works to actively support the success of our school living out its stated mission statement. We are committed to providing support and resources to Sacred Heart School students, families, and staff in various ways including: coordinating fundraising activities and social events throughout the year to celebrate and strengthen our school; welcoming and supporting all families in the school community; fostering a spirit of cooperation and open communication between parents and the school; and being available for questions and ideas from all members of the school community. Each year, we seek and depend upon many parent volunteers to coordinate and/or participate in HASA fundraisers and events. We encourage the engagement and participation of families in whatever way they may be able to help. We appreciate the time, energy, and generosity of many in our community who support our school and help foster a positive family-like atmosphere. We look forward to serving our school community and working together to support administration, faculty, staff, and parents with their mission to provide quality Catholic education to students at Sacred Heart School.
HASA sponsors many events through the school year, and we look forward to welcoming new families into our community! All events require volunteers behind the scenes and the day of, we encourage you to get involved in whatever way you can.THE 2024-2025 HASA BOARD

Home & school committeesThere are various Home and School committees here at Sacred Heart. Hopefully, you will be able to sign up to help with some of our great activities and fundraisers. We thought it would be helpful to have a brief description and contact people for each of these committees.

CrusaderFest
Coordinate CrusaderFest event, an important fundraiser that directly supports SHS. This is a fun event for our community to gather and enjoy delicious food, fall craft beers, raffles, DJ and more.

Bingo
Coordinate Designer Bag Bingo event, an important fundraiser that supports SHS! This is a wonderful event for the community to gather for rounds of bingo, with fantastic prizes including designer purses, a Yeti cooler, 50/50, raffles, and more.

Drama Club
Assist with the organization of a SHS performance by 5th-8th grade students in the drama club.

Father Daughter Dance
Chairperson: Kristin Greenwood and Regina Fazio
Full of Heart Welcoming Committee
Provide warm, welcoming support and serve as a resource to new families throughout their first year at SHS; coordinate the placement of welcome signs for new students at the beginning of the school year; organize New Parent Social; promote initiatives for student retention.

Hospitality
Help coordinate snacks/drinks for events like Open House.

Ladies’ Night **Resume 2026**
Assist with the planning, set-up, and the day of the event.
Many volunteers are needed to help with this event each year.

Middle School Social
Coordinate a fun evening for middle school students in collaboration with another local Catholic school.

Night at the Races / Casino Night
Coordinate HASA's annual Night at the Races even and fundraiser, usually held the Saturday before Super Bowl Sunday.

Scrip
Scrip is a fundraising program where you purchase gift cards to your favorite stores and earn a tuition credit in the process.

Seasonal Decor Committee
Decorate the outside of school at the beginning of the school year and throughout the year during various seasons.

Secret Santa Shop
One of the best events at SHS! Students buy Christmas presents for their friends and family, visit with Santa, make a class craft, and take part in raffles. Help with crafts ahead of time set up the day before, and assist day of the event.

Shamrock Shuffle
Coordinate Sacred Heart Shamrock Shuffle 5K and Family Fun Walk, a fun annual event held the first Saturday in March to support SHS!

SHS Thrift Shop
Help accept donations of gently used school and gym uniforms and sell items in Everett Hall once a month for a few hours.
