What is Scrip?

Scrip is a fundraising program where you purchase gifts cards to your favorite stores and earn a tuition credit in the process.

How does it work?
Participating Scrip retailers contribute a rebate percentage of the gift card sales back to Sacred Heart School, which SHS shares with you.  You will earn 75% of the rebate, while SHS earns 25%.  For example, Macy’s offers a 10% rebate.  If you purchase a $100 gift card, $7.50 goes into your scrip account and $2.50 goes to SHS.  By using gift cards instead of cash, check, or credit card to pay for everyday purchases, you can earn significant credit towards tuition. The rebate can be applied to school tuition, PREP Tuition, Archdiocesan high school tuition, or donated to the school.

Scrip funds accumulated January - June will be applied to tuition the following August and Scrip funds accumulated July - December will be applied to tuition the following January.

How do I sign up?
The SHS Scrip program is being offered through www.raiseright.com in conjunction with the RaiseRight Mobile App.  All payments will be made online through this website or app. Payment must be made by credit card or linked bank account. NO CHECKS!!

This program provides access to over 750 national brands.  In addition to providing physical gift cards, egift cards and reloadable gift cards are also available for many brands.  In addition, some brands now also offer Ship to Home so you do not have to wait until orders are received at school to get your gift cards.

All are welcome to participate! Email [email protected] to receive an enrollment link and indicate where you would like your rebate to be applied.

Follow the instructions in the email and enroll.  Browse the available brands and order!  When ordering, please keep in mind that the rebate shown is the overall rebate – you get 75%, while SHS gets 25%.

How do I pick up gift cards?
Egift cards and reloadable gift cards are available to use right after purchase, but physical gift cards (with the exception of those gift cards that are being shipped home) will be delivered to SHS once a month and will be available for pick-up in the Parish Center.  Order deadlines as well as pick-up dates and times will be communicated via OptionC and the Church Bulletin. A limited amount of gift cards will also be available for in-person purchase on the pick-up dates.  Please note that cash or check made out to Sacred Heart Home & School will be accepted for in-person purchases.
